HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

My dear friends:)

I wish you and your family a wonderful New Year 2009 filled with peace, joy, happiness, achievement, progress, prosperity and success. May the Good Lord bless you and make all your dreams come true.

Take a look at the photos below. These people have very little hope. They don’t look forward to any great achievements in life except to be able to get some food every day, a place to stay, some clothes to wear. They don’t have steady jobs, no security, access to medical facilities and decent education. They will spend their entire lives in misery, suffering, trials and tribulations.

Can they see the light at the end of the tunnel? I believe so. At the end of this stressful, tiresome journey, God our Father is waiting there with open arms to embrace them. He has laid out a lavish banquet for them and will give them eternal bliss and happiness.

This is a time for us to think. Time for us to reflect. Time for us to thank our Creator for the numerous benefits we enjoy.

Best wishes:)

Thank you Joseph. It is good to be humbled and remember that we are blessed in the very breath we take each moment. You are right, let us not forget our blessings and let us love one another for we are loved. Your thoughts of hope God has seen. May Jesus bless you this year!, and thanks be to God for your ever kindness and thoughtfulness. I am sure that you have touched many of these peoples lives.
I am so glad you are my friend ,

Danielle :-D

Dear Joseph,
Thank you so much for your wishes. I realle wish you will find blessings, love, peace and health in this 2009.
You are right, there are persons that aren`t as blessed as we are and whose life seems pending over a cliff. I pray to have the strenght and heart to create a world were justice, peace and equality can be an everyday routine and not an exception. I cannot do it alone, but I can do whatever is in my possibilities.
Greetings from Mexico and may the distance not be a limit to our friendship.

Dear Joseph, thank you for your nice commenty on my blog, and for your good wishes! My husband and I stayed at home because it was much too noisy for us with all those firecrackers masses of people (many of them are tourists) in town, the dog would have gone mad in the croud...
So we enjoyed TV at home, some eating and drinking...
I hope you are not green :))) anymore but you celebrate so beautiful fests in your hometown, next time I's my turn to turn green :P !
But I understand the basic question. *sigh*

Hi Joseph,
This is a powerful post. The shocking conditions that too many of us have to live in can be overwhelming. But thanks for the good work and keeping these pressing needs in front, that we may never forget our brothers need and never forget the blessings we have. All the best for this New Year to you and your family.
