Yes. We were taught to be careful of the words we choose, fore once they leave your mouth, they no longer belong to you.
Oh ain't this the TRUTH!
Many times I've eaten my words. Some have left a very bad taste in my mouth, so I'm certain to THINK before speaking these days. ;)
