THE TONGUE CAN BE YOUR WORSE ENEMY!

If you keep saying you can't trust a man or trust a woman, you will always find someone in your life to hurt and betray you.

Your words, your dreams, and your thoughts have power to create conditions in your life. What you speak about, you can bring about.

If you keep saying you can't stand your job, you might lose your job.

If you keep saying you can't stand your body, your body can become sick.

If you keep saying you can't stand your car, your car could be stolen or just stop operating.

If you keep saying you're broke, guess what? You'll always be broke.

If you keep saying you can't find a job, you will remain unemployed.

If you keep saying you can't find someone to love you or believe in you, your very thought will attract more experiences to confirm your beliefs.

If you keep talking about a divorce or break up in a relationship, then you might end up with it.

Turn your thoughts and conversations around to be more positive and power packed with faith, hope, love and action.

Don't be afraid to believe that you can have what you want and deserve.

Watch your Thoughts, they become words.

Watch your words, they become actions

Watch your actions, they become habits.

Watch your Habits, they become character.

Watch your Character, for it becomes your Destiny

The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settle for.

Thought I would share this with you.

"In the search for me, I discovered truth.
In the search for truth,I discovered love.
In the search for love,I discovered God.
And in God, I have found everything."

(I received this from my friend Ravi Pillai in Ahmedabad)

We must choose our words carefully, for once they leave our mouths, they no longer belong to us.

Beautiful carpets.??

Love it Joseph! We do need to watch our words... for out of our mouths are the issues of the heart... and as a man thinketh.. so is he! We can speak things into existence.

I hope you and your family are well also? I have missed you and reading your inspiring posts. I am back on board now and happily married too :) As soon as I gather some time I will be posting again - I have missed it!
:)
cheers

Hi Joseph! Wow, we are on the same wave length!!! ESP? :) I blogged a similar post yesterday! It's so true that negative thoughts manifest themselves...I was mentioning that when I find myself on a roller coaster of defeatest and negative thoughts, my body reacts so badly in the form of panic attacks. And all because I worked myself into that state through thought...and of course, I'm learning to turn off that negative inner voice, the positive one is great for sure! Great message, I only wish most people could actually follow it! Beautiful photos!
:-)

I couldn't help myself Joseph ;)

This is a post I put up today... and then I read yours - encouraging :)

"Words are powerful - Matt 12:36-37 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
Ps 33:6 By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made and all their host by the breath of his mouth. (Ampl) "

Your post reminds me of the movie - The Secret. Have you seen it.? If not please do find time to watch it. It's an exquisite movie which says the same thing.

The whole universe runs in accordance to the Laws of Attraction.
The universe hears what you say and responds accordingly. If you look at the late payment loan and say "What the Hell. How am I ever gonna repay this much", you would never repay. Instead if you make up your mind and say "This time, I have to repay in time", you would repay for sure...

Nice post on the truth of how the universe runs!!! :)

Thanks for sharing, Joseph.

What you mentioned in this post is called the law of attraction. If you've read The Secret (http://www.thesecret.tv) by Rhonda Byrne, you'll know what I mean.

Have a wonderful day! :-)

Wise words, Joseph, and so true. I am reminded of the people who pleaded sickness as a means of getting a day off work, and brought sickness on themselves; and one mother who bitterly regretted saying her child was ill.
I am also curious about the pictures.

The voice of reason....many times we forget to listen that encouraging little voice. Thanks to remind us Joseph.
Trying to think, act, speak in a positive way improve our life. Certainly.
But what about people that feel overwhelmed by troubles ?
I don't think they can experimente enough force to discover that little spark of wisdom or hope that can help them. That's a kind of circle vicious in the positive side but also in the negative side.

Have a nice end of week, Joseph.

Good advice, Joseph! Great post. I know that I often say negative things, particularly when I am tired or I am not eating well. Our mental states do influence our health and our outlook on things -- which in turn affects our performance at work, our relationships with the people closest to us, etc. So, watching what we say is a good practice, a good discipline, to embrace.

I have been reading quite a bit about the Christian life lately and realizing that discipleship really does entail a commitment to practicing spiritual disciplines -- a way of being in the world that impacts how we act, eat, speak, react, plan.

Anyway, thanks for reminding all of us about the importance of watching what we say.

Cheers!

These words are very true.

Words have power.
The Bible says; as a man thinketh, so is he.

Our thoughts have an effect on our lives.

The pictures of the alpanas (as we call them here) are very nice.

Very true in all respect. I too believe that strongly. Negativity only brings bad result. I think most of us must have experienced it in one way or the other. It may not sound very important for all but these are very important factors which one should practice very early. Thank you for such reminders once again. In this context … I would like to quote few words – not mine of course - but for all of us -

Keep your thoughts positive,
because your thoughts become your words.

Keep your words positive,
because your words become your actions.

Keep your actions positive,
because your actions become your habits.

Keep your habits positive,
because your habits become your lifestyle.

Keep your lifestyle positive,
because your lifestyle becomes your destiny

My best wishes to you and fly.

For sometime I was not able to get into your blog - dont know the reason. I was getting Russel pukutty instead. Hence this delay.
