IN PRAISE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello Friends,

This is what a passionate lover of photography, Katerina from AND YET GOD STILL LOVES ME had to say in her comment on a comment on my comment. She has a blog to share some of her amazing experiences and another site with a photo album. Please feel free to check up and hope you will strike a life long friendship.

What a blessing that post was. And what a wonderful blessing when God opens our eyes to what is around us and allows us to see very clearly the beauty that He created.

As I see many of the posts on here, I see that many bloggers enjoy taking pictures. From someone who rarely took the time to see what was really going on around me, when I picked up my first digital camera last year, the whole world opened up for me. It allowed me to see the world from different eyes than my own. Now when I stop to see things, I am the one looking around me, and seeing with my own eyes all the beauty that is around us.

From a photographers point of view, there is a picture in everything if you look close enough. I love creating beauty in a photo where one would might only see something dark and boring. My imagination opens up and I can see how Gods hands work each and every day in the world around me. If we stop and take the time to see the world through Gods eyes, you will find that there is so much more to see. God Bless you Rain for opening up your heart to see the beauty around you. It sounds like it saved your life.

Hello dear Joseph! You are correct, Kat does have a beautiful eye and a God-given talent! Thank you for sharing this with us. However, I also love seeing your own photos that you post. God speaks to us all in different ways, opens our eyes to different experiences and opportunities, giving us all unique gifts to share.

God bless you my dear friend!

Hi Joseph!
Its beautiful how you create a world in your photographs which is still but alive with a beauty of its own. Its indeed true that photography gives us a different perspective of looking at life, a world that God created, but we fail to appreciate, its when we stand and observe its beauty, its then that we get to know that we never thanked God enough for whatever he's done for us:)
Thanks for the wonderful blog, I am truely happy for being a part of it!
Take care and all the very best to you in life :)

Namaste Joseph...
I almost closed off the blog when i came to it as I didn't recognize it and looked for your wonderful face to tell me welcome I am here!

How are you my friend? Is life being good to you, I certainly hope so. I enjoyed the photos but tell me what's going on with you these days, what are you up to and what new things have you learn in that land of yours?

Have a good week and I look forward to seeing your footprints along my path and your gift of comment.

Take care and stay blessed.

Kate 's right I have discovered things around me more through the camera lens.Although I am not a good photographer.

I like the picures you take.

I want to take out door photos a lot more, but being a woman I am scared someone may snatch my precious camera. There are lots of muggings in my town.

Joseph,

Thank you for taking the time to include me in your blog. I really appreciate the fact that you enjoy my photos. I do love photography and feel lost without my camera with me at all times. I do have to say though, those who follow your blog do have a point.... You also take wonderful photos. Your's are full of lots of passion and beauty, because you take them just as you see them. I try to create things around me from what I see, but you take them just as you see them, and there is alot of beauty found in them. I enjoy stopping by just to see what you caught your attention and begged to have a photo captured pf it. Your photos come from the heart and that is what makes them so special. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness, and have a wonderful, God filled day. Many Blessings to you... Kat

Joseph, those pictures were exceptional. I agree about cameras, they make us look for things we would not normally see.

Hi Rema:)

I am thrilled by your visit.

Many thanks for your kind words of motivation and encouragement.

Onam is coming fast and I wonder what you are planning for Onam celebrations.

In case you are unable to come for a visit before Onam, let me take this opportunity to wish you and your wonderful family a very enjoyable Onam.

Hello Dear Joseph;
I see you have changed the appearance of your blog. Looks good! Great article also!
I told an Indian minister about you and Joseph today, so he might stop by your blog. He suffers constant chest pain from being beaten by the Hindus when they attacked his whole congregation. He's from Kolcatta, W.B. which I believe is the same place we spell "Calcutta". His name is Reverend Nayak.
Today I was re-reading your insightful comment on my post about miracles. It reminded me of Albert Einstein's saying "Most people will think of miracles in 1 of 2 ways. Either there are no such things as miracles, or everything is a miracle."
Bless you!
Sheila

Each visit offers a most gracious virtual adventure. Your photographs capture such beauty and meaning. Thank you for allowing me this shared delight. The moments of change of light and color you captured are indeed telling and metaphoric - even at the darkest moment of day be there light.

From your visit to APOGEE Poet, I quote you, "But if we move beyond the realm of fear, the possibilities of achievement are breathtaking." You have captured the elixir of life - abandon fear, live faith, and all potential becomes known.

You are so deeply respected and appreciated for your discerning reflection, for the wisdom you share, for how open your heart is to the offerings of others and for the delight taken by your comments here and on other blog posts. You have made my journey into the world of blogging an added joy.
Thank you.

Blessings,
Rose Marie
