JOHN WEDS TERESA

My brother Antony's son John married Teresa in Chennai. The mass was said in Malayalam and the sermon was delivered in Tamil. You will find both Catholic and Hindu customs being followed since we Christians in India were Hindus before we accepted Christ as our Saviour.

Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure. Please click on the photos for a larger view.

Congratulations to John and Teresa and the happy family.

Love the bright and colorful photos....good combination of the East and West.
I like the tradition of the tali (necklace) and saree.Of course the South Indian garlands are so unique.

I am sure veryone enjoyed the lovely cake.

One last thing , in North India Christian weddings don 't take place during Lent.

I have only seen a Christian wedding in Kerala in photographs, including the ones here. I would love to attend one of them in this life.

Marriage is a beautiful union of lives and indeed marriages are made in heaven. I wish John and Teresa a very happy married life together for ever.

No comments on the photographs as they are excellent as always.

Have a great Sunday.
